Thomas Edward Lewis, the son of Donovan and Shirley Joan (Crouse) Lewis was born April 9, 1964 in Red Oak, Iowa. He passed away on May 19, 2020 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital, Council Bluffs, Iowa at the age of 56 years, 1 month and 10 days.

Tom was raised on a farm northwest of Red Oak and enjoyed the years being involved in 4-H. He graduated from Red Oak High School in 1982 and attended Iowa Western Community College. Tom moved to Omaha, Nebraska in the 1990's living there for 8 years before returning to Red Oak and then back to Omaha. In 2005, Tom made Red Oak his home. He was a real estate investor, restoring, flipping and then selling the houses. Tom enjoyed scalping ticket for events, watching sporting events and collecting memorabilia. He was always willing to talk with anyone and very involved in political conversations.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom is survived by daughters: Ashley (David) Bland of Omaha, NE and Courtney Hamilton of Omaha, NE; 3 grandchildren: Miles, Daphne and Melody; and brother, Bob Lewis and Dianne Fritz of Tabor, IA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Tom's wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of Life service will be held later.
