Vana Marie Redd, the daughter of Blair and Holly (Shirley) Redd was born February 3, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022, in Red Oak, Iowa, at the age of 12 years, 11 months and 7 days.

Vana lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, Kansas, and Texas, before moving to Red Oak in August of 2021. She was a sixth grader at Inman Primary School, of the Red Oak Community School District. Vana was a strong, smart, and beautiful young woman. She was a free-spirited, fashionista, and talented artist whose favorite color was turquoise. Vana loved walking to Ryan's Ice Cream & Soda Fountain for smoothies. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Vana was preceded in death by her mother, Holly Redd, sister, RaNea Redd and great-grandmother, Vana Redd.

Vana is survived by her father, Blair Redd of Lampasas, TX; brothers: George Redd of Las Vegas, NV, Jack Redd and Lemuel Redd both of Red Oak, IA; Dominic Redd of Arkansas; sister, Gracie Redd of Red Oak, IA; grandmother, Karen (Darold) Roads of Wichita, KS; great-grandparents: Jack and Mary Hyman of Kemper, TX and George Redd of Garden City, KS; and uncle and aunt, James and Melissa Shirley of Red Oak, IA; other relatives and friends.

Viewing and Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home.
